StealthCollect Local Server Installation (New Installations Only)

Use the Local Server Installer for new installations and when you have full access to the monitored and middleware servers. For a hands-on walk-through of this installation process, view the StealthCollect Local Server Installation demonstration.
Note: The Local Installer does not support upgrading of existing agents.
To perform a local server installation:
Single-tier Configuration
- Download the self-extracting LSI_SCMSSQL.exe file.
- Run LSI_SCMSSQL.exe on the target server on which you want to perform the installation and follow the displayed instructions to complete the installation.
Multi-tier Configuration
- Download the self-extracting LSI_SCMSSQL.exe file.
- Run LSI_SCMSSQL.exe on the target server on which you want to perform the middleware installation and follow the displayed instructions to complete the installation
- Run LSI_SCMSSQL.exe on the target server on which you want to perform the monitored host installation and follow the displayed instructions to complete the installation
Note: For best performance, it is recommended that the server-side components reside on a computer other than the client.
