Quest Software and IPv6Quest plans to support the U.S. government’s migration towards IPv6. To support IPv6, some of Quest's products must revise IP address handling to accommodate the new 128-bit addresses. These revisions must be tested thoroughly. Upon successful tests, when Quest products are released with IPv6 support, they will be listed on our public sector Web site. Most of our products delegate networking to lower levels of the stack and are IP addressing scheme agnostic. We expect these products to work on an IPv6 network with no difficulty. Nevertheless, we plan on testing them to confirm our expectations. We have set up an IPv6 test lab that is available to our product teams for testing their products in an IPv6 environment. We intend to test our products and commence bringing IPv6-compliance products to market beginning in 2008. Please note that these plans represent our intentions as of October, 2007, and our development plans and priorities are subject to change, due to competitive factors, availability of resources and other matters common to all independent software vendors.
